Welcome to the landing page for the Suicide and Evidence Project.
The project will host a seminar series, building methods and theoretical perspectives for engaging creatively with evidence on suicide inequalities. Drawing on the methods and theoretical perspectives shared and developed in the Seminar Series, the project will produce an accessible resource for reading the UK’s first ever suicide statistics to be disaggregated by ethnicity. This project ‘situating UK suicide research as anti-racist work’ was funded by a Sociology of Health and Illness Mildred Blaxter Postdoctoral Fellowship (2025)
